Financing
Valorlux is based on the principle of economic viability. Thus the following will be carried out :
- control of proper collection and sorting;
- check of the use and payment of the Green Dot contributions by industry.
The value of the Green Dot contribution is an economic expression of the recycling of packaging materials from selective collection and sorting up to final processing. The amount to be paid for the Green Dot depends on the weight of the packaging.
The companies licensed have to declare once a year the total number of packs they put on the market.
As an additional service, VALORLUX has developed simplified declaration procedures that are available under grouped contracts which can be signed by the Federations.
